Joining the Nike Basketball Flip the Switch Collection is Kobe Bryant's Nike Kobe AD Flip the Switch edition. While not officially introduced in the collection when Nike unveiled the shoes. While having a "Raptors" color scheme, this release is perfect for DeMar DeRozan to wear throughout the NBA Playoffs. Its official color scheme comes dressed in a mix of Black, University Red and Hyper Violet. This Nike Kobe AD features a Black-based upper with Red and Violet accents for a nice added pop. Other details include a cracked Nike Swoosh logo with a gradient-like heel counter. Back in 2012, Jordan Brand and Converse teamed up for a special edition collaboration that was limited to 23 Packs, which were all auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the James R. The shoe's base comes in Black, while the two latter colors are used on the heel, lining, tongue and Swoosh to help give the shoe that "Flip The Switch" vibe. Notable features on the shoe include the cracked detailing on the Swoosh, the the gradient pattern placed on the heel counter.
